LIUNA Local 270 and LECET Southwest have partnered with the Transportation Agency for Monterey County (TAMC) to host a contractor workshop on Measure X.

Participants will learn how Measure X is funding and helping to deliver projects throughout Monterey County.

Speakers will provide an outlook for their agency and highlight upcoming construction  contract opportunities.

– City of Marina

– City of Soledad

– City of Salinas

The Transportation Safety & Investment Plan (Measure X) was approved by Monterey County voters by 67.7% on the November 8, 2016 ballot. The measure is anticipated to generate $20 million annually for a total of $600 million over 30 years through a 3/8% of one percent retail transactions and use tax. The revenue from the measure can only be used to fund transportation safety and mobility projects in Monterey County.
