LIUNA Local 1130 and LECET Southwest have partnered with the Stanislaus Council of Government (StanCOG) to host a contractor workshop on Measure L on Thursday, April 19th.

Participants will learn how Measure L is funding and helping to deliver projects through Stanislaus County. Representatives will provide an outlook for their agency and highlight upcoming construction contract opportunities.

Agencies scheduled to present include:

– StanCOG
– Stanislaus County
– City of Hughson
– City of Modesto
– City of Oakdale
– City of Patterson
– City of Riverbank
– City of Turlock
– City of Waterford

Plus, updates from other LIUNA-affiliated offices, including Training, Apprenticeship, FFC, CIFAC, will provide informative updates on the latest activities in Northern CA.

Measure L is the Transportation Ordinance and Expenditure Plan approved by Stanislaus County voters on November 8, 2016 . The measure raised the sales tax in Stanislaus County on April 1, 2017, by one-half cent for a total period of 25 years to improve local streets and roads, improve connectivity and reduce congestion.
